Job Description:
Leap Clixx is seeking two full-time copywriters to join their fun and flexible marketing agency. Applicants interested in working in a fast-paced, team environment would be responsible for the creation and implementation of marketing content including: industry-specific blogs, landing pages, content offers, and other marketing materials.
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to produce over 27,000 words of content per month.
- Write clear, appealing, and educational marketing content (as outlined above).
- Use SEO principles and keyword research to create effective titles and copy.
- Research and develop client-based, industry-specific content.
- Maintain client publication calendars and meet strict deadlines.
- Edit and rewrite contributed content as needed.
- Order, create, and submit content on behalf of clients through our proprietary software.
- Manage relationships with subcontactors.
- Additional support to the inbound marketing team as needed.
Qualifications:
- A four-year degree in Journalism, English, or another related field or equivalent experience.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and prooofreading skills.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to take constructive-criticism and adjust accordingly.
- The drive to learn quickly and expand responsibilities.
- Knowledge of advertising and marketing copywriting is a plus,
- Ability to effectively work within a team environment and perform under time constraints.
